Channel magnet 60mm length with counterbore U-shaped steel
Channel magnet Neodymium 60 x 13,5 x 5mm with countersunk borehole – holds 30 kg
Neodymium channel magnets are made of a powerful Neodymium magnet sunken in to a steel shell meaning that the north pole is on the centre of the magnetic face and the south pole is on the outer edge around it. The U profile from steel increases the adhesive force of the magnets giving them an incredible hold for their size. An added advantage of pot magnets is that they are resistant to chipping or cracking following constant impact with a steel surface. These magnets are countersunk on the magnetic face and can be fixed to a surface with a M3 screw. Neodymium Countersunk Block Embedded Channel Magnet
Channel magnets are rectangular or square pot magnets that can be fastened with a countersunk head screw. They consist of a U-shaped steel profile into which a neodymium block magnet is embedded. This design strengthens the holding power of the magnet enormously at direct contact with a counterpart. Additionally, the steel coating protects the fragile magnet from damages caused by repeated blows.
We also carry fitting steel counterparts in our assortment (shown as an accessory of the respective article). We also sell round screw-on pot magnets as well as screw-on magnets without steel profile.
Neodymium / NdFeB magnets are, size for size, the strongest type of any magnet material that is commercially available.
Neodymium / NdFeB magnets are often the ideal first choice for many applications because they offer a maximum performance from the smallest magnet volume.
Neodymium / NdFeB should always be coated to guard against the risk of corrosion – NiCuNi, Zinc, NiCuEpoxy and Gold are popular finishes.
Channel Magnets, Latch Magnet Channel Assemblies, Mounting Magnets, Countersunk Neodymium Channel Magnets, Rectangular Neodym Countersunk Channel Magnet
Channel magnets utilize a neodymium magnet and a steel channel.
They are very versatile in application – for holding and positioning.
All have mounting holes that allow the magnet to be screwed or bolted into place.
